module 4- How often do you make an effort to practice your strengths and virtues? (A virtue is a trait you cultivate. Ex: patience, generosity kindness). Are these traits key to a happy life? Discuss.

I make sure to practice my strengths and virtues as often as possible. I still have to practice these traits since I know for myself that patience is still not hundred percent in me and so practicing and cultivating this would be a great achievement on my part. For example, everyday, I always try to be patience (heaven knows that), so I could be happy throughout the day but still there are times I broke out and lose my temper for some reasons I could not avoid. This trait is the one I surely have to focus on practicing and cultivating since many people would be affected if I would not do so and even I would suffer more the consequences. And yes, the traits stated above are keys to a happy life. It is because having these virtues would allow us to achieve good things in life.

module 4 - For some, happiness relies on money. In some cases, hacking means money. Would you do hacking it if its outcome is a sure happiness of your family? What particular Aristotle theory contradicts this concept? Discuss.

One of Aristotle’s theory states that “Happiness depends on acquiring a moral character, where one displays the virtue of courage, generosity, justice, friendship, and citizenship in one’s life. These virtues involve striking a balance or “mean” between an excess and a deficiency.” And this theory contradicts the case stated above. Hacking is unethical, and you could not acquire moral values or display the virtues in life upon doing unethical things, whatever that may be, even though it may cause you and your loved ones in life happy. And yes, it is true that for some and for some cases happiness relies on money but real and ultimate happiness comes from the people around showing their love and care for you, being contented of your family being together, united and laughing together. It does not come from money alone.
