Module 8 - What computer abuse would you like to eradicate? How would you do it?

Worms and viruses is one of the computer abuses that I like to eradicate. This is so because viruses and worms cause damages on files and computer systems readily without even the computer owner knowing it. It just gives computer users headaches and problems since important files may get lost and be infected. Since obviously, this abuse can’t be eradicated, I would just simply try to get rid of it. I would do it by installing anti-virus softwares on my computer and scanning my computer at a regular basis. This way, I can at least get rid of worms and viruses.

Module 7 - There are still enormous sources of misinformation on the world wide web, so how can you determine what is good information and what is bad information?

Good information comes from reliable sources, I believe; bad or unreliable information however comes from just anybody messing around. With this, we really have to be very careful on choosing what information to believe. To determine which of these readily available pieces of information are good or bad, we have to verify first its sources since enormous sources of misinformation are still very much available and scattered on the world wide web for many different reasons, and some of these reasons is to deceive people, to fraud and many other illegal activities.

Module 5 - Today, it is a fact that a lot of Filipino women are into online GOLD digging. Suppose one of them is your sister who happens to be your family's breadwinner. What would you do on this matter?

Yes it is a fact that a lot of Filipino women are into online GOLD digging nowadays. But if suppose it happens that one of them is my sister, I would definitely make her stop what she’s doing, she’s my sister and I don’t want her to do such thing, I want her to be happy and be respected. And if she be the breadwinner of our family, then the more she has to be righteous on whatever she does to earn money. It would just hurt us, her family, learning that the money she have providing us for our daily expenses comes from something unethical, sacrificing her dignity and happiness. My family would definitely not allow that to happen. And so, if it happens to be like it, I would talk with her and make her stop what she's been doing. Selling oneself online is absolutely not the only way to earn money. There are lots of jobs available anywhere. We just need to be determined and courageous to find a good job that suit our personality, that could sustain our daily living and that would make yourself and your loved ones proud.
